Lennar in Sarasota and Manatee
Lennar is a national builder that started in Miami in 1954. Its Sarasota/Manatee division has communities from Parrish south to Englewood and North Port. Lennar is known for its Everything's Included approach, where many features come standard instead of as upgrades.

Lennar's history page traces the company to F&R Builders, formed by Gene Fisher and Arnold Rosen in Miami in 1954. Lennar introduced its Everything's Included program in 1989. Locally, its Sarasota/Manatee division lists golf course communities in Lakewood Ranch and Wellen Park plus smaller communities in Parrish, Bradenton and Englewood.

Before you visit a Lennar model
- With Everything's Included, ask for the list of standard features for the exact home so you can compare it fairly with a builder that prices upgrades separately.
- Lennar often has finished homes ready to close. Ask whether a quick move-in home has a deadline to close to keep its price or terms.
- Golf and country club communities can carry club dues on top of HOA and CDD costs. Ask for every recurring fee in writing.
- Register your agent on your first visit or first web inquiry.

As of October 2026 its site lists Wellen Park Golf & Country Club, Calusa Country Club and Stillwater in Lakewood Ranch, Rye Ranch in Parrish, Legends Cove in Bradenton, and Island Lakes at Coco Bay in Englewood, plus homes on lots in North Port.
Can I use my own agent with this builder?
Usually yes, as long as your agent is registered at your first visit or first contact. If you tour a model or send a builder web form on your own first, the builder may not recognize an agent later. Ask the sales office to confirm the registration in writing.
